Diatom Calendar Contest 2026
Young ISDR would like to invite you to participate in the second edition of the Diatom Calendar Contest. Entries of drawings, fotos, micrographs and other artistic expressions of diatoms are welcome, but artificial intelligence entries are not allowed.
Dates of submission: September 30th 2025

- Extant diatoms
- Fossil diatoms
- Diatoms in the field/lab
- Diatom artworks

The selection of winners will be open to the members of ISDR/Young ISDR. The creators of the 12 selected images will be awarded a certificate and feature on the ISDR website and social media and will be used on a calendar that will be available for download at the end of the year.
