Diatom Calendar Contest
Young ISDR would like to present the first edition of the Diatom Calendar Contest. Entries of drawings, fotos, micrographs and other artistic expressions are welcome, but artificial intelligence entries are not allowed.
Dates of submission: 1st of April 2024 – 30th of June 2024
Categories for submission:
- Extant diatoms
- Fossil diatoms
- Diatoms in the field/lab
- Diatom artworks

The selection of winners will be open to the members of ISDR/Young ISDR. The 12 selected images will win prizes and will be used on a calendar that will be available for purchase at the end of the year.
