
Registration for Workshops and Speed Talks at the IDS in Yamagata are now open

During the International Diatom Symposium two presential workshops at Yamagata organized by Young ISDR will be held:
– on Monday August 28th at 13h Kálmán Tapolczai will hold the molecular workshop planned, including exercises on the bioinformatic pipeline and a final discussion round.
– on Thursday August 31st at 13h15 Michael Kloster and Andrea Burfeid Castellanos will present digital diatomology, including insights into its connection to deep and machine learning, exercises of digital identification and examples, as well as a discussion round.
We might have up to 50 places per workshop. You may participate in both workshops. Remember that you will need a laptop or electronic device for the workshop.
Early Career Researchers will have prioritised registration, but the workshops are open to any career time. Please do not hesitate to register! Deadline for registrations is August 15th 2023.
