It’s time for you to join our society – registration fee of this online meeting is waived for student member of ISDR (International Society for Diatom Research).
Student membership is ￡25 per year. This is equivalent to JPY 3,853 (USD 35, EUR 29) and it includes open access to the journal Diatom Research and further perks explained here: https://isdr.org/membership/
Presentation
Oral presentation: Talks will be 15 minutes pre-recorded by speakers and arranged for real-time discussion by speakers and participants for 5 minutes via Zoom. Pre-recorded video presentation will be available at the meeting website 1 week prior to the meeting, so that participants are encouraged to watch them beforehand to make discussion fruitful. Before discussion, 1 minute is given to summarize the talk, with a single-paged graphical abstract which can be shown during discussion to highlight the talk.
Poster presentation:
Poster presentation sessions will be in real-time, using the SpatialChat platform to maximize discussion and interaction. Posters will be in .pdf format, maximum 5MB in file size.
Abstract Submission
Abstract Submission is now open. Keep in mind of the following rules when submitting.
- Word Count: Keep your Abstract under 500 words/3,000 characters (including spaces).
- Title: The title should be clear and concise and should describe the content of the presentation.
When writing your title, please also write your preference for either Poster or Oral. Example: My Presentation Title (Poster)
Please submit your abstract through the Presentation Application Section on the Dashboard.
